HighwaysJefferson County has over 450 miles of roadways and is the "Gateway to the Rocky Mountains." I-70 crosses through the heart of the County, providing local access west to the ski slopes and other recreational areas and mountain communities. Beltway Completion Underway
The proposed Northwest Corridor would complete Metro Denver’s beltway by connecting the northern end of C-470 with the southern end of the Northwest Parkway in Jefferson County. With C-470, E-470 and the Northwest Parkway operating, only about 20 miles of the 106-mile long beltway remain to be completed. For more information on the beltway, please visit jppha.org.
There are over 750 truck transportation companies in the metro Denver area providing trucking services. Approximately 160 of these companies are located in Jefferson County.
